Season: International Nurseries for Season 2027

General

The material distributed by TCI-IWWIP Program provides, in general, two different groups,

        a. The germplasm developed within IWWIP program

        b. Germplasm provided by IWWIP cooperators and agree to be distributed by IWWIP.

        c. The germplasm is distributed with SMTA. Any cooperator requests any germplasm from TCI-IWWIP agrees with the conditions given in the SMTA (click-wrap).

        d. If any cooperator requests any germplasm, s/he agrees that s/he will provide the data for the respective germplasm requested. If any requester does not provide data in time (by the end of November of planting year), s/he is not eligible to request any germplasm from IWWIP for coming season(s).

27th IWWYT-SA: 27th International Winter Wheat Yield Trial for Semiarid Environments

This nursery with primarily regional distribution in the region of Central and West Asia and Eastern Europe has objective of delivering more advanced germplasm to cooperators and verification of the germplasm yield performance in multilocational testing. The nursery will be composed of 25 entries developed by TÜRKİYE-CIMMYT-ICARDA IWWIP Program, elite germplasm received from cooperators and 3 checks. The germplasm went through 2-3 years of yield tests in several locations in Türkiye under moisture stress and combines resistance to prevailing diseases. Each nursery set consists of 25 entries with two replications and 140 gr of seed per replication. In total 30 sets will be distributed for 2026-2027 season. The minimum data required to be provided by requester are; Days to Heading (from Jan 01), Plant height (cm), Yield (Kg/ha), list of selected entries (General d). The other data such as disease, quality, morphological, physiological etc. taken during the growing season are also welcome.
